> > SHOCKING NEWS FROM PARRIKAR > > Yesterday on 3rd Jan 2014, I have read in all the local newspapers a > news report coming from Parrikar telling Goans that he will not allow > an entry into the casinos by February end. This news came to us as > shocking and embarrassing to all the Goans especially for those who > would like to play or were adapted with the casino gambling eventhough > it is not good. It is not fair for Goans only to shut their entry into > the casinos as it is not their fault since casinos ships are already > having permission to remain in Mandovi by Parrikar and having their > offices in the shores of Panjim. It is very simple, how one can be > stopped entry into his own house. The first step what Parrikar should > have done is sent these casinos out of anchorage away from Mandovi > river and then automatically Goans presence in casinos would have > been limited or reduced to minimum. By giving such an order that Goans > will into be allowed entry in casinos is very much insulting to us. > In the same yardstick he could have very well said for no alcohol > drinking, no gambling in 5-star hotels, no prostitution, no urination, > no defecation, no smoking, no dancing in open streets/roads/halls etc > is allowed in this state. I feel he should think twice before such an > order is in force. > > Stephen Dias > A GOAN > D.Paula > Muhuhahaha! By law, citizens from Monaco have been not allowed to enter the (magnificent btw) casino of Monte-Carlo, and that since it was built somewhere end of 19th century. This to protect the morals of the local populace. Cheers & HNY ! p+5D! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/36/Real_Monte_Carlo_Casino.jpg
