Another amazing fact gleaned from your post is that if your grandfather schooled there circa 1914, it means that his parents (your great grand parents) were Bombay residents at that time. While that was not exactly pioneering, since Goans went there before that, your family must have long preceded the bulk of the Goan passage to Bombay which took place in the forties.
