it was disgusting to see the sad demeaning of Pamashree awardee Wendell Rodricks, who was referred to as a Tailor in a posting on Goanet. Tailoring is a great and honorable profession. But the writer has no clue about the profession that Wendell Rodricks has scaled the heights to achieve such international renown. He is a fashion designer and not just a tailor. While tailoring is a small part of fashion designing, usually done by employees rather than the designer himself, various disciplines are involved in this demanding profession, including science,psychology, engineering, textile science etc. I congratulate Wendell on receiving this well deserved National Honour and bringing honour to Goa.
