What has the relic in Coloane near Macau got to do with the Ceylonese claim that the uncorrupted body in Old Goa is that of a Buddhist monk.
It is irrelevant thinking like this that probably made Salazar say "Goa is ours" when Nehru asked him sometime in the mid-50s, what would be the best solution for the future of Goa. There is relic of the saint in a chapel named after his name in a place called Coloane which is an island south of Macau.
