Dear Francis Dy Chief Minister of Goa, I admire your services to the BJP . Being a one of the few Catholics in BJP, you have given hopes for the Catholics in this state to vote for BJP and that is the reason everybody taught that BJP will do wonders but failed miserably. Now, I do not think that BJP will ever come to power in Goa.. Even if Parrikar goes again and seats with his half pants with the Catholics community and eat with them, which he did earlier and all of us saw in the print , in one of the house in Vasco. That made people to think that Parrikar was a change person and now he has shown his true colours. You are a strong supporter of him. Remember one day you will be ditched by him and than will be too late to save Goa. I know that you have helped many Catholics in Goa , even you have helped my sister by giving jobs to her 2 children in the same dept where she was working before retirement without any compensation but with only some fruits or gifts which is peanuts and not amount to corruption. Fine, I was your fan from that day. I want you to save Goa. Stay permanently in BJP and that will give us protection. Thank You and GOD Bless You. REMEMBER ONE THING THAT BJP IS USING YOU. But Modi will surely destroy Catholics. Church must step in to save our tiny Goa. I am not giving sermon but it is a fact. I have good and plenty Hindus friends but they are different and not RSS.
stephen ================================================== There could be apprehensions among minorities about Modi becoming PM: Francis Published on: March 30, 2014 - 01:41 More in: Goa News PANAJI: Lambasting the rivals of the Bharatiya Janata Party for raking up the issue of communalism, whenever state as well as national elections are held in the country, Deputy Chief Minister Francis D'Souza on Saturday said that even though there could be apprehension among the minority communities about BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi his three-time election to the post of the Chief Minister of Gujarat points otherwise. Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters, D'Souza said that he himself, as a member of the minority community, has no apprehension of any kind about Modi. "However, few members of the minority communities could be carrying some apprehension about him," he added, pointing out that the overwhelming mandate of the voters in Gujarat to Modi, for three consecutive terms is the best form of referendum in his favour. D'Souza said that one-and-a-half major political parties in the country namely Congress and Aam Aadmi Party, which are the rivals of the BJP, have been constantly accusing the BJP of communalism, and even preferring corruption over communalism. "It is sad to see Congress party ignoring issues like progress and development, as also pushing corruption during its 10-year rule in the country, under the carpet," he maintained, stating that support of the Congress party to rampant corruption has taken the communalism debate to a very low level. The Deputy Chief Minister also pointed out that the North Goa Congress candidate for the Lok Sabha election Ravi Naik has been indicted by the House committee report on politician-police-drug trader nexus. "The government is studying this report, and the same could be adopted by the House during its monsoon session in July/August, later this year," he informed, mentioning that those found guilty by the report would definitely be punished. francis: P12 francis: D'Souza also said the recent communalism-secularism debate could have started after the Church statement, which appealed to the voters to stay away from the communal forces. "If you try to read between the lines, there could be a mischief in the Church statement, however, on the face, I find no offence," he noted. Replying to a question, the deputy Chief Minister said that the state government has received a letter from the Union ministry of minority affairs as regards forming a state interim committee, before setting up the State Minority Commission. "The Goa commission for minorities bill, 2012 has already been referred to the House committee," he noted. Answering another question, D'Souza, who is the chairman of the state BJP manifesto committee, said that work for the preparation of the local manifesto of the party, is presently underway. "We will release the manifesto by April 4, and the same will include four to five local issues," he concluded.
