Goa MLA flouts law at night party, stops police probe

Goa: Goa has always been the preferred hotspot for parties, enjoyment
and unwinding.
Indian and foreign tourists swing to blasting music at various beach
parties, flouting all time restrictions and violating court orders.
The "fun" not just limited to the blatant disregard for laws, it
usually translates into uncontrolled usage of drugs and narcotics.
CNN-IBN got access to one such party at Congress MLA Jitendra
Deshprabhu's residence.
All complaints by locals to the police to intervene went futile, not
because the police couldn't do much, but because they were just not
allowed to.
Deshprabhu was seen using his political position to prevent the police
from carrying out investigation.
