Just after sending my previous post, I saw an article in today's Mint, Why the newspaper feels like an anachronism, by Aakar Patel. Given below is a small part of the article. -- The Times Of India has fallen from 7.6 million to 7.2 million readers, the Hindustan Times is up from 3.8 million to 4.3 million while The Hindu is down from 2.1 million to 1.4 million. -- The Times still tops the circulation stakes, though the Hindustan Times has climbed up in its circulation figures. The saree of the Old Lady of Bori Bunder may be in tatters, but it's not falling off :-)
