Goans in UK, especially in Swindon, must express about their concerns and problems at the NRI conference in London on Oct 16 and 18. There's enough time to get a petition ready, listing all they would like the Indian government to help in liason with the UK government, the municipality and other public bodies. This is a niece occasion. Remember the tamasha held a few years ago at the Goan NRI convention, where some got the opportunity to be self-appointed guardian of Goan culture and Goan affairs. The GOA has a chance to provide its demands and also meet with the Indian officials, including Minister Sushma Swaraj.
