Also since Gilbert's book contained plagiarized illustrations too this
could be the unearthing of a totally new phenomenon. People suffering from
cryptomnesia are known to replicate text from memory unknowingly thinking
it is their own thoughts, but rarely can a person replicate illustrations
exactly too. Maybe Santosh, whose speciality is the study of nervous
systems, could subject Gilbert to some tests and uncover the secrets of his
prodigious capacity to absorb text and illustrations and replicate them
exactly - while also erasing all traces of the original input. Imagine if
college and university students could learn this Gilbertian method. Passing
exams and earning doctorates would be a breeze!
Cheers!
