In the death of noted agriculturist and art patron Shrikant Joshi Goa has
lost a gem of a personality. Very outspoken and extremely intolerant to any
injustice. Multi-talented and a wealth of knowledge he was. Someone who
passionately loved Goa and Goenkarponn. He was deeply immersed in music and
poetry. Had the privilege of meeting with him on many occasions. On last
September 21st was happy to be for the day at his farm house at *Maulinguem*
on the outskirts of Bicholim. A fun filled very caring host he was. May his
soul rest in peace.
