Stephen, The younger generation are quite comfortable with the contention that there is no heaven, purgatory or hell. Others fight tooth and nail not to go to these places. When god (or the devil) sends an invite in the form of high blood pressure, diabetes, etc., these recipients chose to fight the invite by taking chemicals and when they lose that battle, they expect to arrive in heaven.
