Hello Canadian Members of the Goa Book Club.
The much awaited G.O.A Toronto Viva Goa 2015 is around the corner. The
fun begins Saturday. Aug 8th.
http://www.goatoronto.com/viva-goa-summer-2015/
This year I will be selling a number of books imported directly from
Goa. In addition to this, I will have a huge assortment local and
classic children's books on hand.
---
You are invited to visit the Book Tent and pick up something special to
add to your collection. Of course, books are not just collectors items.
They are treasures to be perused, read, re-read, enjoyed, loaned to
friends, discussed, fought over, and eventual handed down.
Now is the time to select something for your summer reading list and to
pick a unique gift for an upcoming occasion.
---
I've enclosed a list of Goan Books available. Some are books rarely
found in Canada. The popular books will sell fast.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you wish to make a purchase
prior to the event:

The Book Tent will be featuring two novels by local author Braz Menezes.
'Just Matata: Sin, Saints and Settlers' and 'More Matata: Love after the
Mau Mau' are historical novels that span the first half of the 20th
century and richly illustrate Goan life during and in post British
Africa and Portuguese Goa. The stories are funny, sad, and evocative.
They will engage you and expose a world that existed a short 50 years
ago. Both novels have been well received and are recommended reading.
Sadly, Braz will not be able to attend the event as planned. I will make
arrangements for anyone who wished to have their purchases personally
signed by the author.
