Hi Roland Just writing to acknowledge your note about the Viva Goan Festival at Toronto this weekend and wishing you all a very happy and successful day out. As a teenager many years ago I attended a well organised GOA Toronto Goan Festival at the beautiful setting on the Harbour front and still have many happy memories of an excellent day full of variety and fun. The only disappointment was being served a Child spoonful portion of Sorpotel and Pilau at full price by a fat lady with big do not question eyes and missed out on getting one of the four thousand miniature bottles of Feni sent from Goa with love for the festival that never arrived or presented. The current stain on Good Goan Catering is a bit like the song of the ugly duckling and I can only hope like the ending in the story all will be beautiful on the day.
