Goa has it own Rajdhani Express train now. Inaugural run at Margao (Madgaon) on 15.11.15 flagged off by Rly Minister Suresh Prabhu, Goa Chief Minister Parsekar and South Goa MP Sawaikar. Initially, its a bi-weekly train and will stop at Thivim (however, CM suggested that it shoudl stop at least at 2 stations in Goa including Karmali). Train no. 22413 departing Margao on Sundays & Mondays at 1005hrs and arrives Delhi (NZM) 26.5hrs later. Full A/c train fair is about Rs.300 less than other thrice weekly Rajdhani Train from Kerala passing through Margao. FC/2AC/3AC fare Rs. 5740/3320/2290 respectively. inclusive of linen/Blankets/Pillow/ Food/ Tea/Coffee breakfast. Sr. Citizens (Women 58 / Men 60) to get about 50% concession in all classes like in any other trains. Looks like booking not started yet but first train to leave Goa on 22/11/15 (From Delhi on 20.11.15)
