You may want to check out with the Menezes Braganza people in Chandor. Berta Menezes (daughter of Menezes Braganza) wrote some fine stories in English, and her husband, Antonio Menezes too wrote some prose. It is possible they turned their hand to something in Portuguese as well. You could check with Sushila Mendes in Cuncolim, who's written about Menezes Braganza recently.
