BEWARE OF GOOGLE
It is true that everybody wants to go to Google for help which is a SEARCH
ENGINE only, to find out each and everything and even write articles in
the newspapers to earn some cash and Editors of various newspapers approves
for publishing. There are many in Goa great writers who are almost everyday
in the news and it is become a business and practice to send
their articles for publishing. Some of these writers have facilities in
their offices or department and uses their research students , office
staff and others to collect data from Google and publish their articles in
their names. Especially there are great writers who do not even know the
contents what they write but article are been published in random in their
names and mostly the public is misguided for the wrong data. Ordinary
writers who do not have such kind of help or facility as their data
collected from Google are not generally accepted as they are not to the
mark and not approved by the Editors and hence not entertained
for publishing.
This has become not only a business and perhaps Income Tax Dept are not
even is aware of that and how much income these great writers make it. Some
times they earn more than 10 times what they earn from their usual
salaries. There should be accountability of whatever income comes to them
from any sources.
Whatever now Dr. Francisco Colaco letter appeared in the Letters to the
Editor column of Navhind Times today dated 2.1.2016 titled " BEWARE OF
GOOGLE AS YOUR DOCTOR" is absolutely true that people take it for granted
that whatever Google gives is hundred per cent correct without knowing that
the Google is a only search engine. Especially people must be beware for
their health care medicines which can be so dangerous if taken without
qualified doctors prescription and getting themselves treated with these
medicines listed from the Google as it can be dangerous.
I have just for a trial fed a symptom in the Google for " Best medicine for
the pain" then the Google gives me variety of pain killers which can be
so dangerous that it may lead to your organs failure especially intestines
damage. if some of these pain killers if consumed without the
doctor's prescription it could lead to cancer or
ulcer complications , diarrhea, vomiting and also interacting with other
drugs etc.
Therefore people must be Beware of Google not only for medicines but also
for all kind of data obtained from Google search which could land any
person into trouble if not differentiated the data what is good or wrong
data.
I could quote hundred of cases where the people are completely trusting the
Google search and landed into trouble after sending their data to the court
or Government offices. One is for example is the NDZ ( NO development zone
) demarcation and high tide line , contour mapping etc. that some members
of the Government authority or Boards takes this a valuable data. Thorough
knowledge on the subject is a MUST.
