I have been getting calls on my mobile during the month of May saying that Reliance is shutting CDMA by 31st May. went to their office in St.Inez on the 28th at 10 am. the gentleman was very kind. Gave me a free sim card 4G and told me to send an SMS quoting a certain number. I did it. I got a reply saying it was registered. On the 30th my phone stopped working. Went to a mobile shop opp ICICI bank and bought a new mobile. they inserted the new sim card and voila its working. Its not a Smartphone, but upgraded version of the old one. Only problem I have to physically put in my contact nos. from the old phone. I can use it, but certain things I am unable to figure out. will do so next week. Very helpful the shop owners.
