The dish that Driscoll referred to is Bacalhau Gomes de Sa.
On our trip to India in 1974 I found the recipe in “Femina” an Indian Magazine
My family & I enjoy this yummy dish from time to time on Sundays.
In “Cozinha Portuguesa” there are 365 bacalhau dishes, one for each day of
the year.
Besides the sliced potatoes atop the bacalhau, some black olives and sliced
boiled eggs
& a sprinkling of parsley adds the finishing touch.
