From: Robin Viegas:  'Government should reach out to Goans post Brexit'

Over the years several thousand Goans opted for Portuguese citizenship which
opened the doors for them to other countries in the European Union, especially
Britain.

"This decision (Brexit) can create problem for them. The Goans abroad have been
contributing to the Indian economy and Goan economy by sending remittances back
home. Brexit can lead to unemployment and force them to return to Goa," Faleiro
said.

GL response:
I would suggest that Goans in Goa should relax.  Chances are that nothing is
going to happen to EU passport holders (of 27 different nationalities) in
Britain; since the same could happen to British passport holders and businesses
in EU.
The primary Govt responsible for Portuguese Goans is the govt of Portugal who
is well capable of stepping to the plate and make the case to the British govt
for all Portuguese passport holders - White, Brown, Black and in-between.
So I suggest that Viegas, Faleiro and the Goa govt care for Goans in Goa so
that Goans are not forced to / do not have to be "queuing up outside the
Portuguese consulate in Panaji, processing their papers for obtaining
Portuguese passports."
Regards, GL
