The Goa Human Rights Commission headed by Retired Judge A.D.Salkar and J.A.Keny has today sought an urgent detailed report from the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police over the very inhumane treatment being meted out to the police personnel deployed on duty at the 2016 BRICS summit in South Goa. The CS and DGP have been directed to appear before the Commission on 18th Oct.
The Commission has today also directed the Secretary of the Commission Siddhivinayak Naik along with Dy S.P Kiran Poduval to visit the sites today and submit a detailed report about the working conditions of the police personnel posted on duty for the BRICS summit.
