A family from Chittagong, Martyres, visited Bombay in the late 60's.     I
did a wiki look up and found this: many refs there for a weasel on the snoop.
The Portuguese arrived in Chittagong in 1528 and soon used the 'cartas'
mode of maritime domination.  Two and a half thousand Portuguese and Eurasians
were living there by 1598.      Chittagong fell to the Moghuls in 1632.
They were joined by the Dutch Batavia    navy. The Portuguese moved to Dacca
where Satgaon became Porto Pequeno    and Portogola housed their community.
Firingi Bazaar in Chittagong and Dacca are    home today to their descendants.
