Ah! once again the season of synthetic happiness is upon us ------------------------- GL responds: Of-late the posts on Goanet from resident Goans have been one critical / negative post after another. I truly feel sorry for these writers. Sometimes, I wonder how folks can live day-after-day with such continuous negative outlook of life. In medico-humorous terms we called that condition procto-uveitis. That is where the eye-nerve is connected to the rectum and the victim has "A Sh*tty View of Everything". So if this season is "synthetic happiness", make it real (organic) by giving a plate of sweets to your neighbors, the poor, the lowest paid workers in your office or your postman or postwoman. Plan to go for a dance and evenings of entertainment this season with your loved ones. In Goa or Mumbai go on a tour admiring the cribs that many children and neighborhoods display. Please do not be "the Grinch that stole Christmas" from the children and needy in your neighborhood.
