Jim seems to be a fellow who has a right head over his shoulders. One does
not apply for 'diplomatic assignments.' Remember, Trump has asked all
'political appointees' (including the previous US ambassador to India) to
resign? Furthermore he has placed a hire freeze on all federal departments.
I for one, like Jim's analytical postings very much and appreciate.

Since you are trying to influence our thought process almost on a daily
basis now, where can one find more information about your CV such as what
school you graduated from etc. BTW have you tried applying for a job in the
new administration. According to the Times Of India "A few days from now,
the Trump Administration is expected to name Ashley Tellis ( a Mumbai-born
Bandra boy with Goan roots) as US Ambassador to India".
