Stuti Choral and Goa String Orchestra (GSO) will be presenting jointly a programme of classics in the spirit of the season, under the baton of Vasco Negreiros, composer, conductor and musicologist of the Music College of Aveiro University, Portugal.

The programme proposes to set an atmosphere of harmony inspired by an aesthetic experience of religious music lore.

Mozart’s *Ave Verum*, G. Faure’s *Sicilienne*, Bruckner’s *Locus Iste*, Rachmaninov’s *Bogoroditse Devo* and to crown it all our own Raimundo Barreto’s *Sant Francis Xaviera*arranged by the conductor in fugal counter-melodies with string accompaniment are some of the choicest pieces for a contemplative delight of the listeners.
