In 2014 unable to govern Goa, Manohar Parrikar slipped off to Delhi in a
huff to be the Defence Minister while necessitating a bye-election in
Panaji Assembly Constituency which cost the tax payers over a crore.
In March this year after having been dispatched from Delhi on account of
his disastrous performance as Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar now to
deviously continue as Chief Minister is going to again burden the tax
payers by another crore which will have to be squandered on yet another
bye-election in Panaji.
At this ensuing by-election while defeating Manohar Parrikar the people of
Panaji must also ensure that he loses his deposit. The people of Panaji
should give this appropriate response to the sheer political egoism and
gross abuse of power by Manohar Parrikar and the BJP who through utter
arrogance and deceitful politriks have sought to take Goans for a ride.
