While in the Opposition Vijai Sardesai and Rohan Khaunte had repeatedly and
fiercely alleged that the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) headed
by Nilesh Cabral was a hotbed of corruption. Nilesh Cabral on the floor of
the Legislative Assembly had also time and again accused Vijai Sardesai of
being a ‘Dalal’.
Now that the three are all cozying on the same saffron platform with Vijai
and Rohan comatised into silence, the loot and plunder at the GTDC
continues unabated with Chairman Nilesh Cabral having even managed to
continue his Man Friday Nikhil Desai as the Managing Director while Goa’s
beaches and the Tourism industry has been sliding to further ruin by the
day.
Due to lack of Vision and foresight, Goa once a prime Tourist destination
has today been reduced as the country’s Crime, Gambling, Sex and Drugs
Haven.
