http://www.cbcisite.com/cbcinews1664.htm Goa Archbishop To Launch New Pastoral Year Panaji, Goa, June 1, 2007 9.35 Hrs (CBCI News): Archbishop of Goa and Daman Filipe Neri Ferrão will inaugurate the New Pastoral Year 2007-2008 at a Eucharistic celebration on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the Holy Trinity Church, Benaulim . The theme for the new Pastoral year is "Deva Utra Onnbhovan, Jezu Dixa Jivitant' (Expeience God's Word, Radiate Jesus in Life". Archbishop Ferrao will then release three books reflecting the theme of the new Pastoral Year, namely: "Gonvllik Chitt" (his Pastoral Letter) and other Prayers; "Devachea Utrachi Yatra", a booklet with the document of Second Vatican Council on the Word of God 'Dei Verbum' in English and in Konknni. The book will also provide aids to Pray with the Bible, as well as Teachings on the Gospels. A third book is on "The Inspiring Teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ", a Bible with pictures in a simple language which is brought out keeping in mind those who want to know about Christ, especially the children and people of other faiths. The newly released books will be available in the DCBA office, Pastoral Institute, Old Goa.
