They don’t make songs like this any more.

When Goa was really Goa, you sat on on a long armed easy chair in the middle of 
an airy veranda and Emissora de Goa would put out this song preceded by the 
dulcet introduction of Imelda Tavora.

The breeze from the fields blew on your face and it seemed just a step away 
from paradise. If it was not Emissora, it was Radio Ceylon who played such 
numbers. Never All India Radio whose limitation was Indian Carnatic music.

Only Michael Buble keeps these oldies alive with the flair he brings.
