You are invited to the Annual GOA Christmas Ball

Looks like it’s going to be an exciting dance, with a promise of attendees from
all over the state of California, neighboring states as well as abroad. Please
see the attached flyers for dance and seating details.
Go to http://goansofamerica.org/current-events to book your dance and raffle
tickets online, through PayPal. Please note the new web site. Pictures are also
available on the web site for your viewing pleasure.
All rates go up by $5 on November 30, 2017, so book early!
Parking is available at no charge in the parking lot. Say that you
are going to the GOA/Goans of America event.
Seating : Unless you have booked a table of 10 you will be placed at
various tables (as a family/group depending on how many people you add at the
time of booking) in the section you book. Choices are Irvine (green) and Knotts
(red).
If you are planning on joining friends/family have them book in the same
section so that you will be close to each other.
Sponsor: If you would like to sponsor the dance by donating a gift to be
raffled out please email me.
Raffle : With a lot of generous donors we have some outstanding raffle
prizes to offer.
Please book raffle tickets online or at the venue.
This year raffle proceeds will be going to our very own "Drummer Boy" Ryan
D'cunha . Please donate generously.
Only gift certificates to hotel stays, restaurants and services will be mailed
to winners not present.
For bulky items and food items, the winners will need to be present.
Online raffle tickets with your name (depending on how many you purchase) will
be placed in a raffle drum for the drawing.
Lodging: Rooms are available at the same hotel for $109/ a night.
Please book early as rooms may get sold out. Prices and availability subject to
change.
GOA SAT Award: Thanks to the generosity of Tony J. Azavedo, C.P.A.
and Alfred F.Braganza, the G.O.A is proud to offer the SAT Award once again. It
is definitely a great incentive to our children to compete.
All 11th & 12th grade scholars (Southern California) are invited to apply for
the 18th annual G.O.A. S.A.T. Award. It consists of $700.00 cash prize and a
plaque. As in the years past, scores will remain absolutely CONFIDENTIAL. One
of the parents must be Goan. The scholar must be present to receive the Award.
An e-mail address is essential.
Kindly submit your test scores duly countersigned by the School Counselor by
November 30 to the Coordinator,
