Why would this happen? And the children of Goa and the world will watch?. I dont know Anastasio but I think he has done a marvelous job in putting up facts of around 1961 in the petition. (All these events have gone towards the birth of Current Goa. All these have to be taught in our school history. Not giving a plebiscite to decide and not taught their history is itself a human rights issue ) The Goan petitioners are seeking justice for their mother Goa in a civilised peaceful way. The justice sought is only as per the laws of The World Order and UN Charter, of which India is the member. Why should anybody object to this. Everybody from CM to PM understands that special status has to be given to Goa to safeguard its identity. They have publicly promised this. Unfortunately, I am told that their hands are tied because of the Indian constitution. Hence it is required to go to the UN. This is the right way as Goa's place is international. Let the UN decide. I am also happy that a knowledgeable and Learned Professor who is the HOD Political science of Goa University, is a member of this forum. Could the learned Professor throw some light on all the events stated in the "Free Goa petition"? http://chn.ge/2AIJ2jA Are these factually correct.? Could we debate and discuss transparently and openly so that the petition becomes even stronger and the Justice is Finally given to our Motherland Goa. Thanks a million Cheers, Mari
