* [Goanet] Meanwhile, 21000+ trees felled in Mopa

Looks like the MOPA airport project is being steam rolled regardless of
environmental concerns by NGO. This reminds me of an ancient civilization the
Pyramids of Egypt. In Panjim a beautiful building in the shape of a pyramid
is the Library from which a blueprint can be taken.

With 21,000 trees being felled and the fate of the wood yet undecided perhaps
the authorities can consider pyramid building on land within MOPA to receive
the dead being brought to Mother Goa from Abroad for Burial as these bodies
will be contaminated with chemicals to prevent decay. The coffins will be zinc
or lead lined and airtight before export to Goa from the country death occurred.

In Goa I understand graves are recycled every three years as bodies decompose.
To prevent confusion in a land that lacks common sense, bodies from abroad
laced with chemicals may not have decayed after three years and may be assumed
to be saints.A problem for the Church and Society.

If you agree my suggestion for a pyramid area next to Mopa should be considered
for the long term. Who does one seek permission from. were the felled trees
approved as grass to be cut?

As Goa trundles into the next century at least there may be a trace of the
present day in the shape of Goa Pyramids.
