WHAT IS GOING ON? The elected CM and his senior ministers are sitting in dharna in the waiting room of the LG of Delhi for the last 7 days. The bureaucrats are practically on strike for the last 3 months whilst the LG (ex IAS officer) is calling the shots thus empowering them! The congress and central government are apparently wanting to discredit this government and obstruct any good the AAP government wants to do.The police and bureaucrats are now fully under the LG control backed by the Centre! Team India sounds hollow when four elected CMs of other States are shown disrespect by the Delhi establlishment and treated curtly, denied permission to meet/back Kejriwal or call on the PM! At a press conference the said CMs correctly stated that after a week of dharna, no action being taken by the LG or PM to end this impasse is not aceptable in democratic India! Who will compensate the people for the dire consequences in resulting ? That the President, PM and LG have not acted all this time further empowering the illegally non cooperating bureaucrats, is purely dangerous vote bank power politics! A railway ticket checker evicted a 73 year old passenger in November 2013 as his ticket was dated November 3013! He filed a case in the Consumer Court and 5 years later comes the verdict with compensation and fining the railways ! Luckily he is still alive whilst the Consumer Court is supposed to normally give a verdict in 3 months! This I understand rarely happens these days. Politicians do not vacate their bungalows even after Supreme Court has to be approached to discipline them. Who will punish the powerful authorities for the consequences the public suffers as a result? Where do the helpless public go for justice whilst the politicians and authorities keep getting away with impunity?Is this good governance?
