Hi Eric, Thanks for reminding me that my late brother((Joseph Maciel, S.J.) was also at St. Mary's. The Maciel from Mombasa you refer to was NOT my brother, but my Uncle(Luis Maciel). Although he had no connection with the docks in Mombasa, he always appeared in his snow white outfit and people mistook him for a Customs Official. Because of his fair skin they mistook him for a 'mzungu(European)! My younger brother(Wilfred) was an Advertising Executive and freelance journalist.
