In my opinion Ranoh the rajasthani(there are no singhs from Goa) took the wrong potshot and now awaits the mob like in Romania (expats who are protesting against the situation with their govt). He was attacking the mining blockers (my opinion) who have done a yeoman service in blocking the illegal mining in Goa. Since the 60's Goa has seen a serious complex situation where there is no accountability to the income that is generated in Goa specially from the remittance from the hardworking Goans from overseas. The neo colonial sharks keep on saying that Goa is numero uno state and for decades. They are glad to collect all that comes in. Income from remittance, mining dollars, toursim dollars etc. Goa pays several thousands of crores in terms of taxes to the union and gets peanuts in return. Goa was forced into a republic with no chance of an exit because we are a cash cow.This incident is an awakening call to the plunder. Only a Moncada type revolution will save Goa. BC
