Pão is a film about Goa and its bread. It’s an intimate yet universal portrayal of a people and a place. The film follows lives in and around three bakeries in Goa and ties it all together with a heartfelt meal over bread. Pão is being made by a small but dedicated team helmed by director, Sonia Filinto. The film is raising resources towards its completion and has launched a crowdfunding campaign for this. It’s an all-or-nothing campaign (if the target is not met, the money is returned) that ends on 16th January 2019. 70% of the total has been raised so far. Please consider contributing to the campaign as every amount helps at this crucial stage. And please do spread the word. Details at http://www.wishberry.in/campaign/pao
PS: I'm not connected with this, but only believe it's a good cause deserving of support. The film-maker Sonia Filinto spoke at the 2018 Goanet-Goa Sudharop meet held at the end of December. (Along with her was Nalini Elvino de Sousa, who has done other interesting work, including *The Special Envoy* on the life and times of Aquino Braganca, which will screened at the Museum of Goa, on Sunday, January 13, 2019, between 6-7.30 pm.) -- FN* फ्रेड्रिक नोरोन्या * فريدريك نورونيا +91-9822122436 AUDIO: https://archive.org/details/@fredericknoronha TEXT: http://bit.ly/2SBx41G PIX: http://bit.ly/2Rs1xhl Can't get through on mobile?
