WAS THERE AN INDIAN STRIKE?
The BJP babus have become past masters at creating & circulating myths and yarns about their party and Hindutva. Outright lies and fabrications seem to have become an integral part of BJP Hindu culture. The idea is to glorify Hindutva, exaggerate BJP achievements and belittle those of the Opposition, especially the Congress. Umpteen times, the BJP IT team have been caught using pictures of distant foreign infrastructure (highways, bridges, etc in Canada, Morocco, etc) & claiming they are Indian structures. The IT team have become experts in locating suitable objects and artefacts overseas from internet sources. Prominent persons & opposition leaders have been smeared using past photos from unrelated events. No shame, no sense of guilt at all. India was recently named as the worst offender on generating fake news or representations. There is one site that has rendered great service to uncover the extensive fakery going on.
It is www.altnews.in
Here is what this site says about the claimed surgical strikes 2.0 into Pak territory:

"According to reports, the air strike by the Indian Air Force on JeM terror camps was conducted at around 3:30 am on February 26, 2019. Alt News found that this video, used by multiple news organisations reporting the attack by IAF, was first posted in 2017. In September 2017, a YouTube channel uploaded a video titled ‘Flares at night Paf F-16’. The video is posted below. It can be seen from 0:34 onwards that a part of this very video has been used by the news channels. "Moreover, Alt News found that the same video was posted by a Pakistani Facebook page on February 24. It had been posted by the page Fans Of Imran Khan. It was also tweeted by a Pakistani user on February 25, with the narrative that it showed Pakistani fighter jets engaged in a military exercise in the Cholistan region."

Much more can be said but this will do for now.
[ Unfortunately, GoaNet does not permit displaying images, so we can't illustrate our point convincingly.]
Readers should inspect the site for themselves.
