Bhandare's response (massaged by his boxing coach) to Selma was classic Goan.
You-guys did a great job - holding high the white flag. A Selma supporter may
argue that really he did not need the kashti after her last interaction with
him ... aka "erudite posts".
Bhandare's feeling that Selma was hitting below the belt with her literary
eloquence was well founded. Picture her account of him: "You poor cry-baby
... went running to your boxing coach .... crawling on all fours ... crying
'papa SHE is beating-up on me'." Then Selma goes on to, "Yet I am not afraid
of your and his puss .... I make khima of both you-guys combined."
If one is a khoro-niz ani tea bhair machismo Goenkar, the above has to be
painful. I say "chuchuree baba ... please stop", as Bhandare is doing. My
added advice, it is best to fight your own battles, instead of running to some
big daddy, who may have his own baggage.
