GOVERNMENT WITH A DIFFERENCE

With the demise of the PM and deputy PM Frances DSouza (he was never ever
permitted to officiate as PM), the BJP strength is reduced to 12. Sudin
Dhavilikar (with permanent PWD portfolio) seniormost politiciam for CM and
Vijay Sardesai sworn goenkarpon behavior meekly accepted, and we will never
know what enticed the independents, to help enact a midnight drama where the
cabinet sworn in consists mainly of a BJP Chief Minister who had to resign his
seat as speaker. The example of Francis DSouza did not strike our two deputy
CMs? Ailing Parrikar was kept in the post at great costs to valiantly hold the
fort as long as possible as CM, and a BJP appointed Governor throws honesty,
rule of law to the winds and swears in a "fait accompli" government at well
past midnight! No need to reply to Congress claim, or stop BJP from
strongarming and cobbling a majority that must be done on the floor of the
house with transparency and accountability to the electorate! His Master's
Voice is being obeyed? Are goans so laid back that they will quietly accept
this arrangement? If your vote has any meaning, you have to wake up and at
least be able to control your MLA?
