I have a habit of starting my 'Spring Cleaning' a bit early in the year , and, when going though some of my accumulated "Saved" papers, I came across a letter sent to me by a former colonial official friend enclosing a letter from the Secretary of the Malindi Museum Society and am reproducing an extract from it which may be of interest to those from East Africa:
*"In the meantime, with help and assistance from the Jesuit Order of the Hekima College in Nairobi, * *we have to date, renovated the St. Francis Xavier Chapel and graveyard, and the Malindi Branch * *of the Kenya Horticultural Society have planted the grounds"* My friend also asked whether there were any among us who could contribute photographs or other material for the museum.
