A myriad of Vistas was released by Shashwat Ray Gupta Resident Editor GT on 15 July 2019 at GT office in the presence of staff and PCTrust Trustees It is dedicated in honour of Dr Vilberto S de Mascatenhas in gratitude and appreciation of his gracious grant It consists of 20 lakhs the interest on which is distributed as Science Scholarship at Rs 12000/to each of the recipients and Rs20,000/ annually to the first student of Assumpta at SSC ThevScholarship is in memory of his wife Margarida Ponce de Mascatenhas who loved Goa and was much attached The souvenir is a collections of Rhymes on individuals,themes,politics nature etc. Dr Mascarenhas has a poetic streak in himself with Poem Ode to Peace in English and Portuguese framed at his residence at Goa .The Souvenir is to coincide with his 89 Birth anniversary on 17 July as a gift of appreciation by the Trust Dr Mascatenhas is a self made man highly educated,businessman ,respected in social circles and equally recognised for his quiet philanthropic gestures At his heart is the education of village children of Chinchinim . He also leaves at Sarzora the place of his origin an architectural wonder Lotus Crest, a museum and aesthetic Chapel devoted to our Lady of Fatima .These are masterpieces of great taste ,refinements and meticulous planning and reported in prestigious journal of Homes .The residence is not used by him or his family anytime in the past or intended in future It therefore remains as a legacy of his roots for posterity The Trust in all humility has no words to express the depth of gratitude to his benevolent intentions Dr Mascatenhas is the lover of culture and tradition and has always proudly professed his roots
