Hi Carmo
  Apropos your post below, I will be inclined to support an IIT in Goa provided 
it is underpinned by education in its broadest sense and is not simply a 
conveyor belt for unthinking 'technicists' of the type that have made vacuous 
loud noises on Goanet recently. I am sure that Bonifacio, in particular, and 
many others will agree with me on this point.

IIT in Goa. That is an excellllent move. What is the status of that request 
and has there been any follow-up ? A small state like Goa with excellent 
infrastructure would be ideal for an IIT.
Also what is being done to promote the Goan IIT among HSC Students in Goa - 
any classes ?
