Thanks to Goanet for posting the TOI link about the marked drop in Goa's
tourism this season; and my write-up of the possible impact on tourism of
Goa-negative posts on Goanet.
In my experience of other ethnic groups, they always praise their own country
or place of origin.  I am surprised and disappointed that Goanet is a
facilitator of continuous non-stop Goa-negative posts.  Except for boosting the
author's ego, I do not think the vast majority of these negative posts achieve
anything; other than leave a bad taste in the readers' mouth - domestic or
foreign.
There are certainly other ways of approaching and solving problems instead of
displaying ones dirty laundry in public. BTW, everybody has dirt laundry.
Happy and Prosperous New Year 2020 to ALL

Goa's Drop in Tourism
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/goa/as-new-years-eve-approaches-goa-grapples-with-sharp-dip-in-tourists/articleshow/73012717.cms

In the spirit of honesty and transparency, will Goanet take its share of
responsibility for the daily barrage of Goa-negative posts contributing to the
negative picture of Goa in India and abroad?
The 3-5 chronic negative posters should also step up to the plate and be held
accountable.? It is likely that their own income is not affected by their
negative Goanet posts.?
