The inscription at the entrance to the cemetery of St. Thomas Church,
Aldona, Bardez  is  "AIZ MAKA, FALEA TUKA".  Other cemeteries, in Goa, may
have a slight variation  of the original Latin phrase    "  *hodie mihi,
cras tibi."*
