Light extraordinaire. Reykjavík is blessed with sublime summer nights from May to July. When the stars align, the entire city is limned in the glow of the low sun for hours around midnight. The central plot in these photographs is the exquisite character of light. Light of this nature is not available in the lower latitudes.
