Thank you Roland. Your post evoked veryhappy memories of 1958/1959, when I, as a young lad of 19. landed my first job as a clerk in Bombay. I lived on Hill Road in Bandra, and every day I walked to the Bandra station to catch the suburban train to Churchgte station from where I walked to my job as a clerk at a ompany on Dinshaw Wacha Road. Your post evoked vivid and happy memories of the camradrie of fellow commuters, Even then the trains were crowded, and many pasengers clinged to the doors of the fast moving trains. The generosity of fellow commuterssharing their biscuits etc. will always remain in my mind. Thank you for the memories.
