Dears,

Alfred is talking or 1959, i.e. Pre-Liberation era, women's Lib or otherwise.
Nirodh's from Hindustan Latex did not hit the market till the 1970s.

In all probability, the product Alfred had must have been imported
"Durex' or some other international brand. He gave them away FREE? In
1959?? In Loyola HS with Fr. Mario de Meyrelles sj around???
Absolutely incredible, to say the least.

Fr. Meyrelles could hammer one black and blue for being late to class
or having a smutty joke book in the bag [even if you were just the
postman for some seniors]. He might have suffocated Alfred with one of
his Lib. items ;-(

Incredible that Alfred should have taken French Leave...and still be
around to tell the story.

Mog asundi.

Miguel

In what brand name were they peddled then my dear
Alfredchacha? This was much before the advent of super
deluxe Nirodh I reckon. Were you the harbinger of
women's lib?
Cheers,
Santosh
