A few personal observations: 1. Al Jazeera does a great and often risky job on whatever they investigate. This Bangladesh investigation is international award winning quality. 2. Substitute General for high police official or top ruling party functionary and you have this situation being replicated in India more times than you can imagine. 3. Western nations no matter what they say, count on this corruption and money laundering. A relatively little put in the pockets of a few important people and they can bleed the country for a million times that.
