Hi Selma. This is true, in particular in the Murmagao district. Its impossible to quantify the arrivals but its very visible when one walks through parts of the port city. Cannot say what the orientation of the new arrivals. As well, the rss was very active in the city for the longest time (they hold their marches after dark!!).
Note, there was always a *lim presence in the port city ( and remember, Goa has had Mogul influences, pre-Portuguese) but a certain 'moontri' who went from a small l*gal (sic) practice to millionaires row in a short time is the likely magnet. As well, after the disturbances in Hubli (I forget the exact time etc), there was a large influx and was the talk of town. The influx is mostly traders setting up shop to the best of my observation and chatting my local residents. Regards. Pandurang. On 7/14/07, Carvalho <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

And what would be your plan on stopping them? selma ____________________________________________________________________________________ Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell. http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/ ------------------------------------------------------- Goanet recommends, and is proud to be associated with, 'Domnic's Goa' - A nostalgic romp through a bygone era.
