"Photo by Sandeep Naik". This was something I often read while still in college. I admired the work, and didn't know the man behind it.
After working in Goa's (then lone) English-language daily, Sandeep spent a lifetime in West Asia/Gulf region. He build his reputation as a skilled photographer. His images hit home and tell many a story. Often, the story behind the story is even more fascinating. Thanks to the Net, one connected with Sandeep. We became good friends. The fan-in-me lived on as I continued to admire his work. But, at a more meaningful level, are we guilty of forgetting Goa's own achievers? Let's meet up and talk this evening.
