Content with ,family, resources, service and life Prayed fervently with faith with daughters and wife At advancing age It was a blessing miracle for sure. A desire, yearning, longing worthy to endure. As he grew up, promise of hope was expected, Professionally qualified at work, admired respected , Confident of advancement , refused Goa to leave Support, concern and care for parents to give. He was the fulcrum ,a joy at home to reckon, A darling of sisters, a hope and a beacon, Relations with family, friends, he maitained best Hearts and minds are shattered with his eternal rest . He loved to read dress ,travel, enjoy music and food Endeavoured to be understand,be responsible and do good. His plans to settle ,pleasant memories evoke, The accident shattered his future , went up in smoke , Happy, joyful 28 long years, family did share Closely knit, caring family nothing to dispair Delayed momentous event ,due to sisters absence The presence of sisters was a must and essence. Francis named after saint, doctor , elders in gratitude Sisters disliked , detested by reserved attitude An elderly ,abandoned lady , predicted a boon Hilarious, amusing that a son will be born soon. The birth heralded celebrations ocassions to rejoice Francis a favourite choice everyone lent their voice .The family and sisters, a great future plan made God in his wisdom , earthly plans forbade. On feast of St Francis thoughts flow in torrent of flood The agony ,torment to loose one dear of lineage and blood No solace ,comfort ,answers to our woes Is it punishment, curse, destiny, God alone knows ? In solitude ,meditation strung with excruciating pain, No hope to ever see him smile again, Life long his cherished memories will haunt ,remain. Acceptance with refrain or ,complain is best to explain. It is never easy to accept and bravely face Except with faith , belief and power of grace Mortals are we by His will shall abide Under His mantle protection in peace reside Nelson Lopes Chinchinim image
